Our purpose-built training facility enables us to bring all parties involved in an ARDEX specification together, from the client through to the main or sub-contractors, ensuring total confidence in the specification and subsequent on-site application.
Our experienced team have a successful track record in the specification of tiling and flooring solutions, and have worked on a number of the world’s most prestigious projects within the transport, leisure, retail, education and health sectors, including the London Olympic Park Aquatics Centre, The Burj Tower and the recent multi-million pound refurbishment of The Savoy Hotel.
Our Business Development Team
Andrew Reid – National Business Development Manager
Andrew joined ARDEX in December 2008. He previously worked as an International Business Development Manager, selling technical floorcoverings mainly in the Transport and Military sectors. Andrew oversees the Business Development Team and since joining ARDEX has secured prestigious contracts such as London 2012 Olympic Pool , Royal Commenwealth Pool in Edinburgh and the refurbishment of Tollcross Aquatic Centre for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Adrian Ashby – Business Development Manager PANDOMO®
Adrian studied geology chemistry at St Andrews, mineral exploration and deposit evaluation at Imperial College and the Royal School of Mines, and also completed a Master’s degree in advanced concrete technology.
Adrian has worked in the construction industry since 2002 and been involved in projects such as the Olympics Stadium, The Shard, M25 widening, M6 toll, Channel Tunnel rail link, the towers on Canary Wharf, and Stratford International Train Station. Adrian has given many lectures at architectural universities and these days specialise in PANDOMO® aesthetic concrete finishes, engineered large span terrazzo flooring and innovative design for floors and walls.
Paul Forrester – Business Development Manager
Paul started his career working in sales, selling to contractors working on the sub-sea pipe lines off Scotland and Norway at the start of the North Sea oil boom, as his career progressed Paul moved into the electro-mechanical engineering industry, he was responsible for technical and sales management working overseas in the Middle East and Africa. On returning to the UK Paul joined ARDEX UK initially focused on the major High Street retail refits and the booming new Edge of Town retail site developments of the late 1990’s. Pauls main focus is now on the rail industry where he looks after major projects including the upgrade and refit program of the existing Underground, national Network Rail infrastructure upgrades and new Cross Rail scheme.
Adam Willmott – Business Development Manager
Adam started work as an apprentice wall and floor tiler in 1982 and trained at Vauxhall College in London. Adam has worked on many large projects including the Piccadilly Circus Underground Station, The Queens Banqueting Hall in Whitehall, Barcelona Olympics, Disneyland Paris, and several projects overseas in Germany, Ireland, Malta and Jersey.
In 1995 Adam started work as a self-employed tile fixer and travelled the UK working on several large scale projects. In 2000 Adam became a contracts manager and was responsible for a team of 25 tile fixers, managing a range of projects from concepts to estimates and final finishes. Adam joined ARDEX in 2014 and has already worked on a number of specifications.
Peter Digby – Business Development Manager
Peter started his training with Kent County Council Highways Department, following his training Peter began working on major highways/civils projects such as the A2 Trunk Road Improvement Schemes back in the 1970’s and Phase 2 of the Maidstone Inner Ring Road Project which involved the largest portal foot road bridge constructed in the UK at the time.
In 1990 Peter joined ARDEX UK as an Area Manager covering Kent, East Sussex and London South of the River Thames. Following on from peters success in this area he was prompted to a Business Development Managers role in 2010, I joined the Business Development Team, where he became involved in projects such as Gatwick Airport, Heathrow and Stansted..
Darren Wilcock – Business Development Manager
Darren is the latest addition to the Business Development Team, bringing with him 12 years experience in the Contract Flooring and Specification markets.
All of the Business Development Team are experts in their field, and have vast experience in all aspects of specification writing and the preparation process.
